We are excited to announce that our annual experience-sharing conference, ERFA, will be held at Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo on 19-20 January 2027. The conference will bring together industry leaders, experts, and professionals from the maritime sector to share insights and experiences. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with industry peers during the event.

We can now share some of the topics we plan to cover over the two days in the following preliminary program:

Market opportunities: Learn more about emerging markets, with sessions on opportunities and new market perspectives led by Jakub Walenkiewicz from DNV and Vegard Vollsæter from Clarksons. In addition, we have invited a large player in the Cruise market to share their insights with us.

Shipowners’ Perspective: Hear from industry leaders on what shipowner’s need from equipment suppliers leading up to the 2050 zero-emission ship requirements. What impact will it have on the subcontractors? How can shipping companies collaborate with suppliers on the development of technology?

China – The vast market in the East: Norwegian industry representatives will share their perspectives on the Chinese market and their experiences of doing business in China.

Cyber security: Cyberattacks are becoming increasingly widespread. This session, led by Carl Christopher Kiønig from DNV Cyber, explores how equipment suppliers can protect themselves and their products, understand the regulatory requirements for equipment installed on board, and use cybersecurity as a competitive advantage.

Political Risk: Jens Fredrik Nossen Folland from Kruse Larsen will share insights on how to navigate political risk across international cultures and regimes.
