Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC) have now informed us that they have decided to postpone SMM 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its global impact on major events and international travelling. The new dates are from 2 to 5 February 2021.

SMM will take place and be organized as initially planned, but with new dates. The hall occupancy, booked stand locations, and supporting programme will be as planned, notwithstanding any unavoidable changes. This means that Norwegian Maritime Exporters’ Team Norway pavilion will keep its location in Hall B7.

We know many of you may have questions now. HMC have therefore put together key information about the rescheduled trade fair – please click this link to read the FAQ document. This is also posted on the SMM website.

We were very much looking forward to welcoming you, either as an exhibitor or as a visitor, in our Team Norway pavilion at SMM 2020. However, due to the extraordinary circumstances we understand HMC’s decision and hope it also coincides with your assessment of the situation.

Instead, we now look forward to welcoming you in our Team Norway pavilion at SMM 2021, the new year’s first major maritime event!
