Pipe stress engineer

Sarath Ravikumar Saraswathy

Myself Sarath, have 5 years of experience in piping engineering and mechanical design for various Oil and Gas projects, FPSO and Water Treatment skids. Previously, I was working as a Pipe stress Engineer in a UK based EPC, Petrofac Engineering. My responsibilities includes Piping stress calculations with CAESAR II with ASME B 31.3 code, piping loads sheets, Piping isometric checking, Pipe Support selection , Piping model review. I have also worked in product development projects in which I worked in 3D modelling software like Inventor and Solid works.

My previous studies include Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 7.49 CGPA from the University of Kerala, India and 93.5% in Higher Secondary Examinations. My Master programme include courses like Finite element analysis, Vibrations, Solid Mechanics, and CFD and proficient in ANSYS, Matlab and Python. And I have worked with DNV and Shell RPs for the design calculations of piping systems.
