Join us at SMM 2026 in Hamburg next week

NME is once again hosting the Team Norway Pavilion at SMM, bringing together a strong group of Norwegian maritime companies at one of the world’s leading maritime trade fairs.

Join us in Hall B7 at Hamburg Messe und Congress and meet Norwegian equipment, technology and service providers from across the maritime value chain.

This year, we are especially pleased to welcome Norway’s Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy, Marianne Sivertsen Næss, to the fair. She will deliver a keynote speech at SMM’s opening ceremony and participate in several NME events throughout the week, adding another highlight to an already busy week in Hamburg.

 

Events throughout the week

In addition to the pavilion, NME is hosting several events for exhibitors, members and partners. Here is what you can expect:

 

VIP tour of the Team Norway Pavilion

During her visit, the Minister will join a guided tour of the Team Norway Pavilion, stopping by a number of exhibitors to learn more about their solutions and get a first-hand look at Norwegian maritime innovation. The tour offers participating companies an opportunity to engage directly with the Minister and a chance to present their product and services to national leadership.

Seminar: Norwegian Solutions Shaping the Future of Maritime Operations

Together with Blue Maritime Cluster, NME invites you to our seminar. Join us to hear the opening remarks by Norway’s Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy, Marianne Sivertsen Næss, followed by the latest developments in digitalisation from Norwegian Electric Systems, Kongsberg Maritime, Maritime Robotics, Blue Ctrl and Metizoft.

NME’s Get2Gether at Hofbräuhaus

As part of a long-standing tradition at SMM, we once again invite exhibitors, members and partners to NME’s Get2Gether dinner party, hosted in the classic Oktoberfest style. This informal evening has become a fixed meeting point during SMM, bringing the Norwegian maritime community together in a relaxed and social setting.

Networking lunch

Together with Innovation Norway, NME will host a networking lunch for Norwegian exhibitors and companies from Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. The lunch provides a relaxed setting for international guests and Team Norway exhibitors to connect, exchange ideas and explore new business opportunities across the North Sea region.

Networking event in the Team Norway Pavilion Lounge

NME will host a networking event in the lounge for exhibitors, customers and partners. The event will bring together industry professionals in a valuable arena for dialogue and exploring of new opportunities across the maritime cluster.

NME Hot dog stand

As always at SMM, NME will be serving hot dogs in the afternoon. Stop by our pavilion lounge for a quick bite and a chat.
