Join our visit to Waigaoqiao Shipyard during Marintec China 2025

Visit to Waigaoqiao Shipyard

In collaboration with the Norwegian Consulate General, we are hosting a visit to Waigaoqiao Shipyard in Shanghai on Monday, 1 December, the day before the opening of Marintec China. A tanker ordered by Frontline is currently in its final stage before delivery, scheduled for the end of December, and we have requested permission to board the vessel.

The shipyard is located about 30 minutes’ drive from the Kerry Hotel in the Pudong district of Shanghai. A bus will take us from the hotel in the morning, and back in the afternoon. We will have lunch before returning to the hotel.

All Norwegian companies are welcome to join the visit. To register or to receive more information please contact Bjørg Ekornrud at bjorg@nme.no. There will be a participation fee to cover the cost of transportation and lunch. Due to a limitation in how many visitors the yard can allow, this will be on a first come – first served basis.
