Havfisk Fleet Gets IHM Life Cycle Solution

Metizoft is happy to announce that the company will deliver its IHM (Inventory of Hazardous Materials) Life Cycle solution to Havfisk’s fleet of nine trawlers. Havfisk is the largest trawler company in Norway.

As part of the IHM Life Cycle solution, Metizoft will perform IHM inspections onboard Havfisk’s vessels and create IHM reports which will be the basis for getting certified by a class society.

Once a vessel has a certified IHM, Metizoft will act as a designated person on behalf of Havfisk to keep the IHM continuously up to date throughout each vessel’s life cycle.

Metizoft is pleased to see that an increasing number of fishing vessels are using our IHM service to be in compliance with IMO’s Hong Kong Convention for the safe and environmentally sound ship recycling and EU’s new Ship Recycling Regulation.
