DESCRIPTION:After several Corona postponements\, we are finally back with our ERFA conference on 24 – 25 January 2023 at Hotel Norge in Bergen. \nA world on Fire is this year’s theme.  We live in a troubled world with war in Ukraine\, the aftermath of the Corona pandemic\, high prices on fuel and electricity\, increased prices for raw materials and food\, shipping problems and general political unrest around the world. How does this affect the maritime industry and our workplaces? We will have speakers covering how the troubled world situation is affecting working life\, and look at trends\, challenges\, and opportunities for our industry. \nCompany visit Corvus Energy\nIn the morning of day two\, we will visit Corvus Energy\, the world’s leading supplier of safe\, innovative\, and reliable zero emission solutions for all segments in the maritime industry. At their premises at Nesttun\, we will get a company presentation as well as an exciting tour in their fully automated production facilities. \nCompany presentation Odfjell Group\nIn the afternoon of day two\, Erik Hjortland\, Vice President Technology\, and Krister Bendiksen\, Head of Procurement\, is coming to the hotel to talk about Odfjell and their work to improve the environment\, their use of Norwegian suppliers and equipment manufactured in Norway\, their criteria when choosing suppliers and equipment\, and their recommendations and expectations for the equipment manufacturers. \nAfter their presentation\, you will have the opportunity to have a short B2B meeting with one of them.
