DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Erfaringskonferanse 1 – 2 February 2022 in Bergen due to the Corona pandemic.  \nOn 15 December 2021\, new national rules and recommendations related to the corona situation in Norway were introduced and among others\, these rules set limits on how many people can gather at indoor events and require use of face masks and safe distancing. Even if new regulations will be introduced on 14 January 2022\, there are too much uncertainty as to whether any of the rules will be lifted. Based on this\, we have chosen to cancel as we with this situation are unable to conduct a high-quality conference. \nThe next Erfaringskonferanse will be arranged in January 2023. DESCRIPTION:Update from the organizer of EXPO 2020 Dubai:\nThe global mega event will now run from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022\, a delay that allows all participants to safely navigate the impact of COVID-19\, and allows the World Expo to focus on a collective desire for new thinking to identify solutions to some of the greatest challenges of our time. \nAbout EXPO 2020: \nThe purpose of world expositions is to promote international relations through uniting countries from around the world. Countries and companies come together to exchange ideas\, showcase innovations and experiences in business\, education\, research and technology.  \nThe main theme for the EXPO 2020 DUBAI is “A BETTER WORLD TOGETHER!” where the basis is  ”Connecting Minds – Creating the Future”\, with sub themes: Opportunity – Sustainability – Mobility. \nInnovation Norway oversees Norway’s participation and will act as a facilitator and catalyst for Norwegian businesses. They will present our ocean industries to the world under the theme ‘Norway – A World Leading Ocean Nation’. \nThe Norwegian participation will strengthen commercial relations with countries in the Asia\, Middle East and Africa. DESCRIPTION:The organizer of Sea Asia has made the decision to cancel the physical event due to uncertainty caused by the ongoing Corona pandemic. While we were well on our way to have a Team Norway pavilion in collaboration with Denmark\, this latest development makes this impossible. \nThe Sea Asia Virtual in September will take shape in the format of Sea Asia’s inaugural Virtual Preview event\, which took place in April 2021. The virtual experience will continue to enable participants to connect seamlessly with the community-at-large\, network and establish business contacts\, as well as access content anytime and anywhere. \nThe Sea Asia virtual platform will open one month before the event and be available throughout the year for business networking to continue. \nDiscounted price for members of Norwegian Maritime Exporters\nAs a one of the longest running national pavilion organizer at Sea Asia\, Norwegian Maritime Exporters has negotiated a discount on the virtual listing package for our members. The discounted member price is USD 495\, down from USD 995.
