DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Erfaringskonferanse 1 – 2 February 2022 in Bergen due to the Corona pandemic.  \nOn 15 December 2021\, new national rules and recommendations related to the corona situation in Norway were introduced and among others\, these rules set limits on how many people can gather at indoor events and require use of face masks and safe distancing. Even if new regulations will be introduced on 14 January 2022\, there are too much uncertainty as to whether any of the rules will be lifted. Based on this\, we have chosen to cancel as we with this situation are unable to conduct a high-quality conference. \nThe next Erfaringskonferanse will be arranged in January 2023. Dates to be determined.

What impact does the budget have on the maritime industry? \nLars Andreas Lunde was appointed State Secretary in a 50% position for Minister Iselin Nybø in the Ministry of Trade\, Industry and Fisheries on 30 October 2020. At the same time\, he was appointed State Secretary in a 50% position for Minister Tina Bru in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. \nLunde comes from the position as deputy director of Norad\, where he was leading the Section for Climate\, Forest and Green Economy since 2018. \nIn the period 2013 to 2018\, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The webinar will be held in Norwegian. \n \nSolveig Frøland is the department director of shipping\, shipyards and offshore projects at GIEK. She has an MSc in Economics and is authorized as financial analyst with an MBA in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. Has been employed by GIEK since 2014. Before that\, she worked for 20 years at Nordea as a senior relationship manager within shipping\, offshore and oil service. Solveig has specialist expertise in international project financing and restructuring of deferred commitments. \n \nOlav Einar Rygg is lending director at Eksportkreditt Norge AS. He has worked closely with the maritime supplier industry since the 1990s through various roles associated with Norwegian export financing and followed the industry through the various cycles that the industry has been through. Eksportkreditt Norge AS has a good vantage point for the development in the industry through the dialogue with exporters and buyers related to possible\, new projects.
